Palace Farm Campsite is a small 25 pitch family run campsite in the village of Doddington in the heart of the Kent Downs AONB, an area famous for it's scenery, wildlife, walking, cycling and history. The village boasts a Butchers Shop with deli counter, see www.swdoughty.co.uk a Garage with convenience store www.doddington-service-station.co.uk and a great Pub, The Chequers which serves good food, to book phone 01795 886366. AONB, Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is an official designation as the area is internationally recognised for it's scenery and wildlife. |

The campsite has a modern environmentally friendly toilet and shower block, all lighting is low energy and lights in toilets and showers are switched on by PIR sensor and automatically turn off when all movement has stopped for several minutes so we don't waste any electricity. The lights on the outside of the block are switched on and off by a light sensitive switch, the total consumption is just 160 watts, that is six and a quarter hours per unit of electricity. |

We are a QUIET campsite for 25 tents in a lovely green field with nature and it's wildlife as your neighbours. We ask all guests to respect the peace and quiet, unfortunately we can't guarantee that Green Woodpeckers, Little Owls, Pheasants, other wildlife and our chickens to do the same!

Pre-pitched tents, very similar to Tipis. This year we have some pre-pitched tents for hire, see them on our information page as we get them set up for the summer. These will have a good ground sheet with a jute carpet, a couple of mattresses for Mum and Dad and some sleeping mats for the kids, bring your own sleeping bags. Outside the tent there will be a fire hearth with logs provided and a barbecue with a bag of charcoal. Click the "Information and Special Offers" page now. |
Sorry we have no hookups and we do not allow generators.
Cars, motorcycles, cycles and walkers only, no commercial vehicles please.
If you are looking to party this is not the site for you, Palace Farm is a quiet campsite and those making excessive noise after 10 pm will be asked to leave without a refund.
You may have a small camp fire, you must ask us for details, this must be booked in advance (limited numbers only). All fires to be in a hearth provided by us, for health and safety reasons no fires directly on the ground, only wood or charcoal to be burned, no collecting of wood from the countryside, please ask we may have some firewood for sale this year.

No other charges, hot showers free, quiet well behaved dogs on leads free. Come and enjoy a really traditional campsite in a lovely green field in the Kent Downs AONB. We have received so many compliments - you can also leave a review comment on ukcampsite.co.uk (hopefully a good one!)
Please arrive from Midday and on day of departure leave by Midday (12.00 noon).
For bookings in July and August and any Bank Holiday weekends or school holidays, a 30% deposit must be made at booking time you will receive confirmation in writing with your receipt. Please note that camping deposits are non refundable.
