The Granary

Look at the photos, there are four private en-suite rooms, all with beds and have good quality fitted carpets.  Two rooms have two single beds each, one room has a double and the last room has a double and a single bed.  There is a lounge downstairs which will be for reading and playing games, cards etc, there are two small dining tables and a breakfast area.  Our main lounge will stay as the dining lounge and TV area and has a good kitchen with two cookers, a microwave and toaster.  To book rooms in the Granary you must phone or  email us as they are not available online yet.

 

Camping prices for 2012.

We are open from Easter to mid October depending on weather.

Price per person includes pitch, parking for one car, use of facilities (including small freezer for ice blocks) and all hot water, no charges for modest gazebos.

Price:  Adult £8 per night, Child £4 per night (3 to 15 yrs)

Minimum pitch price for Friday/Saturday £12 per night.

Fire pits may be hired @ £2.50 per night and must be pre booked, logs £4 per bag.

Please note that we do have a strict rule of not gathering wood from the hedges and trees around the campsite or from the local countryside

*Tents over 6 metres an additional £10 per night. This must be declared when booking!

*One car per pitch, additional cars, at our discretion £3 per night, no commercial vans.  

30% non refundable deposit required for Bank Holidays and July to August payable by card or cheque when booking. 

Balance to be paid in cash on arrival please.

We do accept a small number of dogs, but you MUST book them in advance please.  Please note that dogs MUST be kept on a lead at ALL TIMES, it is illegal to allow your dog to foul any public right of way we will check that you have dog poo bags with you.

Visitors only if arranged in advance, we control numbers for everyone's comfort and safety.  If we are full we are full!! So we can't take visitors or more campers.  If you want to meet friends why not meet at the Chequers pub and enjoy a drink together.

Tipi style tents

Why not book one of our Tipi style pre-erected tents craftsman made by Albion Canvass * out of best white cotton Canvas.  There is a good strong groundsheet and two mattresses and sleeping mats and a fire pit that you can cook your food on and sit by on a warm summer evening maybe with a bottle of wine or similar - you won't want to go home!  Tipi tents are available from May when the weather is warmer and the ground should be drier.

Please note we do take the tipis down in September when dry so not available in October.

Weekly - £250 per 7 nights  

One night - £60, two nights - £100, three nights - £140

   four nights - £175, five nights £200, six nights - £225.

Doughty's, the Best Butchers in Britain - That's official

The village boasts a Butchers Shop with deli counter that sells locally produced meats and produce, see www.swdoughty.co.uk a Garage with convenience store www.doddington-service-station.co.uk  and a great Pub, The Chequers Inn which serves good food, to book phone 01795 886366.  Remember it is more environmentally friendly to buy food from local suppliers and businesses than from supermarkets in towns.  Please ask us about local produce including apple juice from our neighbouring farm less than a quarter of a mile from Palace farm.
