Palace Farm is a quiet campsite
This small campsite in Kent is a traditional tent-only camp site in a lovely green field with nature and wildlife as your neighbours making it the perfect base for a Kent camping holiday. Palace Farm is a QUIET CAMPSITE and all guests are asked to respect the peace and quiet (unfortunately we can’t guarantee that Green Woodpeckers, Little Owls, Pheasants, other wildlife or our chickens to do the same)!!! We were one of the first camp sites in Kent to allow fires in fire pits on site. We have flushing toilets, showers and a washing up area all with hot water. There are no extra charges for hot water.
Bring your own tent or hire one of our pre-erected tents (Bell Tents).
If you are looking to party this is not the site for you, Palace Farm is a quiet campsite, we expect peace and quiet after 10pm and those making excessive noise after 11 pm will be asked to leave without a refund.
Our Hostel is a Green Tourism Gold Award winner and we are proud to also offer natural and sustainable tourism at our small campsite in Kent. As such camp fires in fire pits are allowed but please burn wood only. We ask our visitors to respect the surrounding countryside and so we do have a strict rule of not gathering wood from the hedges and trees around the campsite or from the local countryside. Logs from our local woodman are available for purchase. We do not allow fireworks or Chinese lanterns to be launched from Palace Farm.
