• Booking and payment: When booking online, payment in full is required.  Prices are displayed on our website, go to palacefarm.com and select Camping from the menu bar.
  • Cancellation:  You may cancel up to seven days before the day of arrival for your booking, we will give a 50% refund if requested.  No refunds if less than 7 days of arrival or for rainy or inclement weather.  You may not be eligible for a refund if you have already moved your booking date.
  • Please note that for Bank Holidays, we do require a minimum 3 night stay, bookings in July/August a minimum 2 night weekend stay.  Your booking is valid only when confirmed by us by email and payment in full has been made.
  • We do not allow groups of more than 5 families/tents/pitches – please phone or email to speak to us if you are unsure.
  • Fires may be lit in fire pits only, you may use one of ours or your own, but please show us the fire pit before lighting, we do charge to use your own. We do not allow any gathering of wood either from the Farm or from the surrounding countryside.  We sell locally produced dry logs and charcoal at the camp site office.
  • One car per pitch, additional cars, at our discretion there may be a charge for this.
  • No commercial vans or motorhomes.  Small vans without signwriting and campers up to 6 metres in length accepted, please inform us when you have booked.
  • .
  • We do accept a small number of dogs (NOT IN ANY PRE-PITCHED TENTS OR THEIR AREAS), but you MUST BOOK THEM IN ADVANCE please. Please note that dogs MUST be kept on a lead at ALL TIMES, it is illegal to allow your dog to foul any public right of way we will check that you have dog poo bags with you.
  • ALL GUESTS, even if part of a group MUST REGISTER at the office before entering the Camp Site.
  • We do not allow visitors to the campsite, if we agree to a request, visitors are only permitted if we are not busy and must be booked in advance.  They must register at the office on arrival, they must not bring a car on to the campsite and leave before 20.30 hours.  We try to control numbers for everyone’s comfort and safety. If we are full we are full!!  If you want to meet friends why not meet at the Chequers pub and enjoy a drink together.
  • Bell Tents, please arrive after 13.00 pm and on day of departure leave before 11.00 am.  Please note that we DO NOT allow dogs in or around our pre-pitched tents.
  • We are a quiet camp site and don’t allow any amplified music, we ask campers to keep noise down from 22.00 pm and from 23.00 pm we ask for complete quiet.
  • Campers are not permitted to use any of the Hostel facilities.
  • We have recycling and waste bins, please use them responsibly and don’t leave litter or cigarette ends on your pitch when you leave please.
  • We do not allow fireworks or Chinese lanterns to be launched from Palace Farm.
  • We reserve the right to ask anyone to leave without refund if rules are not adhered to.
  • We work very hard to maintain a safe campsite but we cannot accept any responsibility for your vehicles, tents, possessions or any personal injury sustained whilst on the camp site.  We recommend that you check that your household insurance will cover your camping equipment and personal belongings, if not take out a camping insurance policy to cover your trip.
